CySEC Examination Preparation Course (Advanced, Basic)
Course Overview
As per EU Directives, professionals wishing to provide Investment Services and employed by Cypriot Investment Firms, Credit Institutions, Management Companies, and Investment Companies of Variable Capital, is compulsory to acquire a Professional Competence Certificate that reflects the ability to carry out such activities. These certifications are offered by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
Those passing the Advanced Exam can hold positions in all investment services functions in CIFs, while those passing the Basic Exam can provide or perform the investment services of reception and transmission of orders and execution of orders within a Cypriot Investment Firm.
Seminar Content
This course goes through the necessary knowledge a professional should have to work in investment services/activities as mentioned in paragraph 4 of the EU Directive. This course is designed to prepare participants for the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) certification exams. CySEC certifications concern the knowledge of the regulatory framework of the capital market in Cyprus.
