Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and the EU's new Sustainability Reference Framework
Course Overview
Businesses in Cyprus are called upon to understand and operate in a more complex global environment, having responsibility beyond the production of a good product and/or good service, and in corporate governance. Such successful understanding and implementation is now inextricably linked to their ability to raise capital, be considered competent and grow. In particular, companies are under increasing pressure to report on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) issues. ESG is the disclosure of information relating to the operation of companies in three areas: environment, society, and corporate governance.
The programme aims to help companies to achieve a more robust and modern corporate structure, and to promote good corporate governance based on ESG and sustainability parameters as essential elements for their business development in today's competitive environment.
